As low-budget travelers, we loved the comfortable dorms and the value for money at this hostel. the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, giving us advice on onward travel and places to go. the outdoor/common spaces were really nice, and we enjoyed hanging out in the lovely area and chilling in the hammocks. the breakfast was delicious and great value, and they even had a bar with cheaper beer than in town.

Felt like a true getaway, no complaints.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa de la Iguana and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and always there to assist with any questions or concerns. The atmosphere of the hostel was warm and inviting, making it easy to meet and connect with fellow travelers. The drinks at the bar were not only affordable, but also delicious and strong. One of my favorite aspects of the hostel was the family-style dinner that was served every night. The food was always tasty and it truly felt like being part of the Iguana Family. And let's not forget about the legendary parties that were thrown regularly - they were definitely a highlight of my stay. I can confidently say that Casa de la Iguana is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in Central America. I can't wait to go back!

While my stay was overall amazing, there were a couple of minor issues that I encountered. during the night and early morning, I was occasionally woken up by animal noises.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the beach and other attractions nearby. We loved being able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The hostel also had a little pool where we could relax and cool off. The wifi worked well, so we could stay connected during our stay. Although it rained a lot while we were there, the hostel had a clubhouse feel and was surrounded by beautiful plants, creating a peaceful and calming environment. We even had a movie night, with Spanish subtitles for my convenience.
